MusicCutter's GLOSSARY OF TERMS

One Program - One single piece of continuous music
One Cut - Taking out one continuous part in the music - Example: take out from 1:17 to 2:28
(so we would splice 1:17 to 2:28 --- if the time you specify is off slightly we will keep it in beat)
Tag - A short piece of the music that starts again after the main program ends to get the dancers offstage if they finished the program onstage
(we will put a 2 second space between the program and the start of the tag unless otherwise requested)
You specify the start and end/fade points for your tag

PLACING AN ORDER

Placing an order is easy, fill in our online form with your contact information and cutting needs then upload your music.
Forms are entered electronically and links to them are on our home page, once you submit a form
you will be taken to an upload page. Please make sure you include all details necessary.
We will name the newly cut song file the same name as the one you uploaded to us
with the addition of an "MC" for music cut (even if you ask us to make it longer).
This prevents you from accidentally deleting a file by putting it in the same folder on your computer,
and enables you to tell the difference between the original and the cut version.
Example: you send us a song file named - colors.mp3
it will be returned to you named - colorsMC.mp3
